Domus' management team has over 100 years of combined experience in the janitorial industry. The management team is supported by a trained and professional workforce of approximately 400 part-time and full-time employees in the greater Ottawa area.
Health and Safety
Domus has always been proactive in the Health and Safety department. We recognize the importance of a safe and healthy workforce. All employees receive basic WHMIS training before being sent to perform any work. They are also given training on work techniques, ensuring they work professionally and safely. Each year, our employees are given WHMIS refresher courses.
Our supervisors receive specific training in Health and Safety and all buildings with over five employees have a designated health and safety representative.
Green Cleaning Program
Domus has always been active in selecting products and carrying out practices that are environmentally friendly. Domus participates in a number of environmental projects and initiatives. We believe it is part of our mandate to work towards a healthier environment, and we are always prepared to accommodate our customer with respect to such demands or special requests.
